Designer Challenge Class - You be the Judge! Sunday, March 28, 12:30 pm
In this competition, which will certainly test the boundaries of the participants' creativity, six designers will be given the same materials and will have to complete their design within seven minutes. Attendees will judge the competition and the winner will receive a gift basket valued at $100.
Create a Bonsai Workshop presented by Mohawk Hudson Bonsai Society Sunday, March 28th - 1:00 pm (pre-registration is required) Location: Main area next to Bonsai Exhibit
Mohawk Hudson Bonsai Society invites the public to create a bonsai with the assistance of its society members. You may create a small Shimpaku Juniper Bonsai, with society members there to teach the participants how to create and care for their bonsai. The newly created bonsai will not be potted in the bonsai pot at the workshop, but will be done at a later date at a society meeting. The fee for this workshop which covers the cost of materials is $30. Pre-registration is required, but you can observe and learn about this fantastic art form.
