Class 1: "Framed" (5 entries)  WINNER - ERIN BRADY, CRAZY DAISY
Create a floral interpretation of your favorite masterpiece picture. Art to be hung on a draped wall 36" wide by 80" tall, with a base 48" wide x 36" deep and 6" high. Draping, hanger, art and floral to be provided by designer. Advisor for this class is Michele Peters (518-446-9900).


Class 2: "Second Time Around"
(6 entries) WINNER - ERIN BRADY, CRAZY DAISY
Create a modernistic design featuring recyclable container(s).
(Modernistic Design: A contemporary floral arrangement expressing current trends and ideas.) To be staged on a pedestal 30 ˝" high, with an 18" square top.  Advisor for this class is Maureen Peters (518-446-9900).


Class 3: "The Music in Me"
(6 entries) WINNER - DOUGLAS FISHER, DESIGNS BY DOUGLAS
Create a free form design to include an instrument that pertains to a music genre. To be staged on a table in a space 30" wide by 24" deep, no height restrictions. (Free Form Design: A style of creative design inspired by unconventional ideas, styles and patterns yet adhering to the elements and principles of design.) Advisor for this class is Chris Grigas (518-226-0045).


Class 4: "Hanging Around" (4 entries)  WINNER - STEVE DOMINIAK, SURROUNDINGS FLORAL STUDIO
Create an abstract kinetic design by grouping freely moving suspended forms with visual balance. The suspended forms must be botanical. Designer must create the mobile structure. To be staged on a table with a 36" diameter top x 42" tall, with black skirting. Advisor for this class is Michele Peters (518-446-9900).


Class 5: "Sticks & Stones" (6 entries)  WINNER - ANDREW CYTRYNAK
Create an imaginative design without flowers using one variety of pussy willow and rock and/or stone as your featured material. Moss and foliage allowed. To be staged on a pedestal 37" tall, with a 16" square top. Not to exceed 36" wide or 48" tall. Advisor for this class is Erin Brady (518-784-2315).


Class: 6 "Dutch Touch" (6 entries)  WINNER - MICHELLE PETERS, AMBIANCE FLORALS & EVENTS
Create a mass arrangement showcasing your best interpretation of spring blooming in Upstate New York. To be staged on a cube 24" wide x 24" deep x 36" high. Advisor for this class is Erin Brady (518-784-2315).


Class 7: "Good vs. Evil" (6 entries)  WINNER - RICH ROBERTS, FELTHOUSENS FLORIST
Create a homage to your favorite superhero/villain character. Open to designer’s interpretation. To be staged on a pedestal 37" tall, with a 12" square top. Advisor for this class is Marilyn Cederoth (518-828-0790).


Class 8: "Dr. Seuss Is Loose"
(6 entries) WINNER - HOLLY HEMMING, FELTHOUSEN'S FLORIST
Create a zany wild abstract vignette inspired by Dr. Seuss. To be staged on a black skirted table with a 36" diameter top x 42" tall. Advisor for this class is Marilyn Cederoth

Class 9: "Be A Star" (6 entries) WINNER - RANDY SQUIRES, FOCUS ON FLOWERS
Create a star shaped design, using all fresh material. To be staged on a table in a space 30" wide x 24" deep. Advisor for this class is Maureen Peters (518-446-9900).


Class 10: "Versailles" (5 entries) WINNER - TAMMY D'ELIA, RENAISSANCE FLORIST
Create a European influenced design featuring a sculpture/statue, including vines and or grasses. To be staged on the floor in a space 4’ x 4’ – no height restrictions. Advisor for this class is Erin Brady (518-784-2315).


Class 11: "Games People Play" (4 entries) WINNER - JEN BARNES, PRICE CHOPPER
Create a linear design inspired by your favorite childhood board game or playing card. Must include game piece, board or box. To be staged on a pedestal 36" tall with a 12" square top. Advisor for this class is Chris Grigas (518-226-0045).

Class 12: "USA"
Create a basket arrangement using red, white & blue flowers.
On site advisor Erin Brady.

Class 13: "Go Green"
Create a one sided arrangement in a recyclable container. Not
to exceed 18" wide x 15" deep x 24" tall. On site advisor Michele Peters.

Class 14: "All Tied UP"
Create a mass arrangement utilizing ribbon in a creative way – no bows allowed.
On site advisor Chris Grigas.

For Garden Club Members Only Class 15 - Not Judged

Class 15:  "Garden Renaissance"
Create a table for two. To be staged on a 36" round table.
Linens to be provided by designer.
